       After six years of unremitting efforts, Li zewei, technical director of a kiln company in Foshan City, has successfully developed a new type of internal heating full flame energy-saving rotary kiln suitable for the production of ceramic raw materials and color glaze materials, and has obtained the national patent authorization.        As we all know, calcination and drying are indispensable important links in the production of ceramic color glaze. The traditional production technology of ceramic chemical industry mostly adopts push plate kiln, shuttle kiln and tunnel kiln. With the trend of energy conservation and emission reduction, rotary kiln has been used in the industry in recent two years. It is understood that more than 10 rotary kilns have been built in Foshan ceramic glaze industry, all of which are ordinary rotary kilns. This kind of rotary kiln is almost the same as the rotary kiln commonly used in cement production, but its size and output are much smaller. Although ordinary rotary kiln is more energy-saving than push plate kiln, shuttle kiln and tunnel kiln, Li zewei thinks its energy consumption is still high. For example, when the coal to gas is used as fuel, the temperature in the flue gas chamber of a 1.5 m × 14 m straight cylinder rotary kiln can be as high as 650 ~ 800 ℃. The waste heat is usually not used and treated, which causes great waste.

       Although the conventional rotary kiln has realized large-scale and pot free production, the product quality fluctuates greatly. Because of the direct contact between the fuel and the raw material, and the serious influence of the supplementary pressure combustion air on the firing atmosphere, the abnormal synthesis of ceramic pigment can be caused. The shape and structure of the new type of internal heating full flame rotary kiln is no different from that of ordinary rotary kiln. Only the lining structure has been reformed, which not only improves the structural strength and service life, but also achieves the purpose of energy saving and atmospheric pressure calcination. The combustion chamber of full flame rotary kiln is actually a regenerator. There are at least two advantages of full combustion: one is that the ceramic glaze is not affected by the impurities in the fuel and the exhaust gas after combustion; the other is that the calcination process is not affected by the pressure combustion supporting air, which can ensure the reaction atmosphere of raw materials.

       Li zewei, 40, is a native of Anxian County, Sichuan Province. He is familiar with the chemical production of ceramic raw materials. Many years ago, the research and test of the rotary kiln were carried out, and an experimental kiln with a diameter of 0.8 m × 2.5 m was built. According to the measurement, when the temperature of combustion chamber is 900 ℃, the temperature of smoke chamber is only 70-90 ℃, and the energy saving effect is very remarkable. Unfortunately, the experimental kiln was destroyed in the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, and he himself had to go south to Foshan to work because of the financial difficulties caused by the operation. At present, the kiln company he works for mainly produces kilns in the heat treatment industry. Due to its busy business, he has no intention of getting involved in the ceramic field. At present, Mr. Li's great wish is that his patented technology, which has undergone years of painstaking efforts, can be popularized and applied in the ceramic raw material and glaze industry, so as to serve the industry and the society.

       A senior expert in ceramic color glaze industry pointed out that there is an urgent need for a professional kiln company in the ceramic chemical raw material industry to engage in the research, development, design and construction of calcination and drying equipment, among which the full flame energy-saving rotary kiln should be a development direction. At present, there are as many as 1800 ceramic color and glaze chemical enterprises in China, and about 500 enterprises are directly engaged in the production of color and glaze. They are mainly distributed in Foshan and Chaozhou of Guangdong Province, as well as Jiangsu, Shandong, Hunan, Fujian and other places. There is a large market space for promoting this kind of full flame energy-saving rotary kiln. It is understood that the rotary kiln can be used for the production of frit and the combustion and drying of other chemical raw materials. It costs several million yuan to build a tunnel kiln, but only several hundred thousand or even tens of thousands of yuan to build a rotary kiln. At present, many kiln companies can build ordinary rotary kilns, but some rotary kilns have not been put into normal use because they are not familiar with the production process of ceramic glaze. Li zewei, who is familiar with the production of ceramic pigments and glazes, is full of confidence in his own invention of this kind of internal heating full flame energy-saving rotary kiln, and is looking forward to cooperating with the company or boss with financial strength to set up a professional ceramic glaze kiln company in China.
